Abstract

An on-body sensor system includes a hub configured to be attached to a surface of a user. The hub being further configured to transmit electrical power and/or data signals into the surface and to receive response data signals from the surface. The system further including at least one sensor node configured to be attached to the surface. The sensor node being further configured to receive the electrical power and data signals from the hub through the surface and to transmit the response data signals into the surface. The electrical power from the hub can power the sensor node and cause or enable the at least one sensor node to generate sensor information that is transmitted back to the hub within the response data signals.

Un système de capteur porté sur le corps comprend une station centrale conçue pour être fixée sur une surface du corps d’un utilisateur. La station centrale est également conçue pour émettre de l’énergie électrique et/ou des signaux de données dans la surface et pour recevoir des signaux de données de réponse en provenance de la surface. Le système comprend également au moins un nœud de capteur conçu pour être fixé sur la surface. Le nœud de capteur est également conçu pour recevoir l’énergie électrique et les signaux de données de la station centrale par la surface et pour émettre les signaux de données de réponse dans la surface. L’énergie électrique provenant de la station centrale peut alimenter le nœud de capteur et faire ou permettre que ledit au moins un nœud de capteur génère des informations de capteur qui sont renvoyées à la station centrale par les signaux de données de réponse.
