The present disclosure relates to an information processing device and an information processing method which make it possible for an arrangement of a plurality of image-capturing devices to be easily configured to be an optimal arrangement for generating three-dimensional data. On the basis of an arrangement of a plurality of image-capturing devices which capture two-dimensional image data to be used to generate three-dimensional data of a subject, an evaluating unit calculates an evaluation value of the arrangement in relation to the generation of the three-dimensional data. This disclosure is applicable to information processing devices and the like that display information indicating an arrangement of a plurality of image-capturing devices which capture two-dimensional image data to be used to generate three-dimensional data of a subject.

L’invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé de traitement d'informations qui permettent de configurer facilement un agencement d’une pluralité de dispositifs de capture d'images afin d’obtenir un agencement optimal pour générer des données tridimensionnelles. D’après un agencement d'une pluralité de dispositifs de capture d'images qui capturent des données d'images bidimensionnelles servant à générer les données tridimensionnelles d'un sujet, une unité d'évaluation calcule une valeur d'évaluation de l'agencement par rapport à la génération des données tridimensionnelles. L’invention concerne des dispositifs de traitement d'informations et analogues qui affichent des informations indiquant un agencement d'une pluralité de dispositifs de capture d'images qui capturent des données d'images bidimensionnelles servant à générer les données tridimensionnelles d'un sujet.

本開示は、複数の撮影装置の配置を3次元データの生成に最適な配置に容易にすることができるようにする情報処理装置および情報処理方法に関する。 評価部は、被写体の3次元データの生成に用いられる2次元画像データを撮影する複数の撮影装置の配置に基づいて、3次元データの生成に対する配置の評価値を算出する。本開示は、例えば、被写体の3次元データの生成に用いられる2次元画像データを撮影する複数の撮影装置の配置を示す情報を表示する情報処理装置等に適用することができる。
