To provide a display device whereby luminance distribution uniformity within a display surface can be improved. A display device of the present invention is provided with: a rectangular display panel, one surface of which displays an image; a substrate, which is disposed to face the other surface of the display panel, said the other surface being on the reverse side of the one surface, and on which a plurality of light sources are mounted; a diffuser plate disposed between the display panel and the substrate; and a supporting member, which has an opening, which light emitted from the light sources passes through, and which supports the peripheral end of the diffuser plate. The display device is also provided with reflecting members, which are respectively provided at the peripheries of the light sources close to four corner portions of the display panel, and which reflect light diffused by the diffuser plate to the corner portions of the display panel.

La présente invention concerne la fourniture d’un dispositif d’affichage dans lequel l’uniformité de distribution de luminance dans une surface d’affichage peut être améliorée. Un dispositif d’affichage de la présente invention est pourvu de : un panneau d’affichage rectangulaire, dont une surface affiche une image ; un substrat, qui est disposé de façon à faire face à l’autre surface du panneau d’affichage, ladite autre surface étant sur le côté inverse de la première surface, et sur lequel une pluralité de sources de lumière sont montées ; une plaque de diffusion disposée entre le panneau d’affichage et le substrat ; et un élément de support, qui comporte une ouverture, que la lumière émise depuis les sources de lumière traverse, et qui soutient l’extrémité périphérique de la plaque de diffuseur. Le dispositif d’affichage est en outre pourvu d’éléments réfléchissants, qui sont respectivement disposés aux périphéries des sources de lumière à proximité des quatre parties de coins du panneau d’affichage, qui réfléchssent la lumière diffusée par la plaque de diffuseur vers les parties de coin du panneau d’affichage.
