A machining unit (1) for milling material off an, in the position of application, surrounding pipe wall (41 1) in a borehole (4) in an underground structure (42) is described, wherein the machining unit (1) is connected to a rotary-drive unit (31) arranged to provide a controlled peripheral speed in a milling unit (1 1), and is connected to an axial-drive unit (15) arranged to provide a controlled axial displacement of at least the milling unit (1 1), and is connected to a conduit (21) for the supply of fluid, the milling unit (1 1) being provided with at least two rotatable milling heads (1 1 1) which are evenly distributed the periphery of the machining unit and are displaceable, by means of a milling- head actuator (12), in the radial direction of the milling unit (1 1), and which are connected via a transmission (132) to a pressure-fluid-driven motor (13) arranged in the machining unit (1).
