Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a novel system for regulating the pressure of a high-temperature electrolysis or co-electrolysis (HTE) reactor or a fuel cell (SOFC) operating under pressure. The operation of the system consists in: regulating the DH wet gas flow upstream of one of the chambers so as to ensure the electrochemical stability of the predetermined operating point; regulating the DO gas flow upstream of the at least one second chamber so as to ensure gas scavenging in the at least one second chamber, and in the enclosure; regulating the flow of second gas circulating in the enclosure, downstream of the enclosure, so as to ensure the detection of leaks and safety in relation thereto and to prevent the formation of an explosive atmosphere; and controlling the pressure, by means of the regulation valves arranged downstream of the stack, on the gases, including the wet gas, which are also generally hot.
(FR) L'invention concerne un nouveau système de régulation de pression d'un réacteur d'électrolyse ou de co-électrolyse à haute température (EHT) ou d'une pile à combustible SOFC fonctionnant sous pression. Le fonctionnement du système consiste à : - réguler en amont de l'une des chambres, le débit de gaz humide DH de façon à garantir la stabilité électrochimique du point de fonctionnement prédéterminé; -réguler en amont de la ou des deuxièmes chambres, le débit de gaz DO de façon à garantir un balayage de gaz dans la ou les deuxièmes chambres et dans l'enceinte; - réguler en aval de l'enceinte, le débit de deuxième gaz circulant dans l'enceinte pour assurer la détection et la sécurité vis-à-vis des fuites et éviter la formation d'une atmosphère explosive; - contrôler la pression grâce aux vannes de régulation agencées en aval de l'empilement sur les gaz dont celui humide, qui sont en outre généralement chauds.
