Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a beneficiation process for uranium ores comprising clay and carbonate minerals, the process comprising: performing a hydrocyclone step to obtain a hydrocyclone underflow fraction substantially comprising the uranium component; treating the hydrocyclone underflow fraction to effect a separation of carbonate and uranium minerals; and recovering the uranium-bearing minerals to produce a uranium concentrate.
(FR) Cette invention concerne un procédé d'enrichissement de minerais d'uranium comprenant de l'argile et des minéraux carbonatés, le procédé comprenant : l'exécution d'une étape d'hydrocyclonage pour obtenir une fraction de sous-verse d'hydrocyclone comprenant sensiblement le constituant d'uranium; le traitement de la fraction de sous-verse d'hydrocyclone pour réaliser la séparation des minéraux carbonatés et de l'uranium; et la récupération des minéraux uranifères pour produire un concentré d'uranium.
