Abstract:
(EN) An apparatus for conveying an article in a conveying direction is provided. A conveyor includes a plurality of modular links and one or more removable connectors for interconnecting adjacent links of the plurality of modular links to form an endless chain for conveying the article in the conveying direction, at least one of the links comprising an upper link surface sloping in both the conveying direction and a transverse direction, thereby forming an apical region for contacting and supporting the article for conveyance along at least a forward run in the conveying direction.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil permettant de transporter un article dans une direction de transport. Un dispositif de transport comprend une pluralité de maillons modulaires et un ou plusieurs éléments de raccordement amovibles servant à raccorder entre eux des maillons adjacents de la pluralité de maillons modulaires de façon à former une chaîne sans fin pour transporter l'article dans la direction de transport, au moins l'un des maillons comprenant une surface supérieure de maillon inclinée dans la direction de transport et dans une direction transversale, de sorte qu'il forme une région apicale destinée à venir en contact avec l'article et à le supporter pour son transport le long d'au moins un trajet en avant dans la direction de transport.
