Abstract:
(EN) Principles of the present disclosure are directed to novel methods and devices for efficient and targeted delivery of impermeable exogenous materials such as small molecules, proteins, antibodies, and genes into cells, both in vitro as well as in vivo, which is of great importance for drug, vaccine and gene delivery for various therapeutic applications. Specifically, the invention provides device and method for targeted nano-enhanced optical delivery of opsins for vision restoration in patients with retinal photodegeneration by conventional intravitreal /sub-retinal injection of gold nano-rods and opsin plasmids followed by scanned/spatially modulated laser beam matching the pathological areas determined by Fundoscopy, OCT or scanning ophthalmoscope.
(FR) Le principe de la présente invention concerne de nouveaux procédés et dispositifs pour l’administration efficace et ciblée de matériaux exogènes imperméables tels que des petites molécules, des protéines, des anticorps, et des gènes dans des cellules, à la fois in vitro et in vivo, qui est d’une grande importance pour l’administration de médicament, de vaccin et de gène pour différentes applications thérapeutiques. Spécifiquement, l’invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé pour l’administration optique nano-amplifiée ciblée d’opsines pour la restauration de la vision chez des patients atteints d’une photodégénérescence rétinienne par injection intravitréenne / sous-rétinienne de nanotiges d’or et de plasmides d’opsine suivie d’un faisceau laser balayé/spatialement modulé correspondant aux zones pathologiques déterminées par fond d’œil, OCT ou ophtalmoscope à balayage.
