Abstract:
(EN) Disclosed is the new, useful, and unexpected finding that immunization to placental endothelial cells stimulated with interferon gamma result in antibodies to the checkpoint inhibitor PD-L1. In one embodiment, the invention teaches the use of ValloVax™ to induce immunological hyperresponsiveness and reduction of costimulatory need for T cell activation. In another embodiment the invention teaches means of selecting placental populations for enhanced expression of PD-L1 in order to augment immunity towards checkpoint inhibitors.
(FR) La présente invention concerne l'observation nouvelle, utile et inattendue que l'immunisation contre des cellules endothéliales placentaires stimulées avec l'interféron gamma conduit à des anticorps contre l'inhibiteur de point de contrôle PD-L1. Dans un mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne l'utilisation de ValloVax™ pour induire une hypersensibilité immunologique et une réduction du besoin de co-stimulation pour l'activation des lymphocytes T. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne des moyens de sélection de populations placentaires pour une expression améliorée de PD-L1 afin d'augmenter l'immunité contre des inhibiteurs de point de contrôle.
