Abstract:
(EN) In one embodiment, the present invention provides a method for characterizing a first composition comprising a fecal-derived bacterial population, comprising the steps of: obtaining a live culture of the first composition comprising a fecal-derived bacterial population, supplying factors that selectively expand the at least one bacterial strain at a level below a threshold for detection above the threshold level by seeding a chemostat containing culture medium with a second composition comprising a fecal-derived bacterial population; adding the live culture of the first composition comprising a fecal-derived bacterial population to the seeded chemostat, and culturing the first composition comprising a fecal-derived bacterial population with the second composition comprising a fecal-derived bacterial population in the chemostat for a time sufficient to expand the at least one bacterial strain; removing a sample of the chemostat culture; and identifying the at least one bacterial strain.
(FR) Dans un mode de réalisation, la présente invention concerne un procédé de caractérisation d'une première composition comprenant une population bactérienne dérivée de matières fécales, comprenant les étapes consistant à : obtenir une culture vivante de la première composition comprenant une population bactérienne dérivée de matières fécales ; fournir des facteurs qui permettent l'expansion sélective de l'au moins une souche bactérienne à un niveau inférieur à un seuil pour une détection au-dessus du niveau seuil par ensemencement d'un milieu de culture contenant un chimiostat avec une seconde composition comprenant une population bactérienne dérivée de matières fécales ; ajouter la culture vivante de la première composition comprenant une population bactérienne dérivée de matières fécales au chimiostat ensemencé, et cultiver la première composition comprenant une population bactérienne dérivée de matières fécales avec la seconde composition comprenant une population bactérienne dérivée de matière fécale dans le chimiostat pour une durée suffisante pour l'expansion de l'au moins une souche bactérienne; retirer un échantillon de la culture de chimiostat ; et identifier l'au moins une souche bactérienne.
