Abstract:
(EN) Described here are systems and methods for knowledge-based brachytherapy planning. These systems and methods are capable of automatically generating treatment plans for prostate brachytherapy in clinically relevant times. Primitive features computed from anatomical contours of the target organ are used to retrieve a template plan from a database. The template plan is then adjusted in a stochastic search algorithm.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés de planification de curiethérapie basée sur des connaissances. Les systèmes et procédés de l'invention permettent de produire automatiquement des plans de traitement pour une curiethérapie prostatique au cours de périodes cliniquement pertinentes. Des caractéristiques primitives calculées à partir de contours anatomiques de l'organe cible sont utilisées pour extraire un plan-modèle d'une base de données. Le plan-modèle est ensuite ajusté dans un algorithme de recherche stochastique.
