Abstract:
(EN) A blood pressure monitoring device includes a body portion having a size and structure to extend around an appendage of a user during use, a fluid bladder at least one of attached to or integral with the body portion and arranged to be able to apply pressure to an adjacent artery or vein of the user during use, a pressure actuator fluidly connected to the fluid bladder, a controller configured to provide control signals to the pressure actuator to fill the fluid bladder to selected pressures, a signal processor configured to communicate with the controller to receive signals indicating the selected pressures to which the fluid bladder is filled, and a pressure sensor arranged in operative contact with the fluid bladder to measure blood pressure waveforms plus bladder fluid pressure to provide a pressure waveform signal containing information regarding a relationship between vessel distention and transmural pressure. The pressure sensor is further configured to communicate with the signal processor to provide the pressure waveform signal to the signal processor. The controller is configured to provide a plurality of selected pressures that are less than a mean arterial pressure of the user, and the signal processor is configured to calculate blood pressure parameters using pressure waveform signals produced during application of the plurality of selected pressures that are less than the mean arterial pressure of the user.
(FR) L’invention concerne un dispositif de surveillance de la pression sanguine comprenant une partie corps dont la taille et la structure s’étendent autour d’un membre d’un utilisateur en cours d’utilisation, une vessie de fluide étant fixée sur la partie corps et/ou faisant partie intégrante de cette dernière et étant agencée de manière à pouvoir appliquer une pression sur une artère ou une veine adjacente de l’utilisateur en cours d’utilisation, un actionneur de pression en communication fluidique avec la vessie de fluide, un dispositif de commande conçu pour fournir des signaux de commande à l'actionneur de pression pour remplir la vessie de fluide à des pressions sélectionnées, un processeur de signal conçu pour communiquer avec le dispositif de commande pour recevoir des signaux indiquant les pressions sélectionnées auxquelles la vessie de fluide est remplie, et un capteur de pression placé en contact fonctionnel avec la vessie de fluide pour mesurer des formes d’onde de pression sanguine et la pression du fluide de la vessie pour fournir un signal de forme d'onde de pression contenant des informations concernant une relation entre la dilatation de vaisseau et la pression transmurale. Le capteur de pression est en outre conçu pour communiquer avec le processeur de signal pour fournir le signal de forme d'onde de pression au processeur de signal.
