Abstract:
(EN) Techniques for intra- and inter-operator coordination on a shared communication medium are disclosed. A central coordination server may send an operating mode information message to coordinate operation of different points on the communication medium. An access point may receive such an operating mode information message and adjust one or more communication parameters. An access point may determine a level of timing synchronization with neighboring access points and send a synchronization advertisement message to an access terminal. An access terminal may receive a synchronization advertisement message and perform one or more measurements of the neighboring access points.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des techniques de coordination intra et interopérateurs sur un support de communication partagé. Un serveur de coordination central peut envoyer un message d'informations de mode de fonctionnement pour coordonner le fonctionnement de différents points sur le support de communication. Un point d'accès peut recevoir un message d'informations de mode de fonctionnement et régler un ou plusieurs paramètres de communication. Un point d'accès peut déterminer un niveau de synchronisation de temporisation avec des points d'accès voisins et envoyer un message d'annonce de synchronisation à un terminal d'accès. Un terminal d'accès peut recevoir un message d'annonce de synchronisation et effectuer une ou plusieurs mesures des points d'accès voisins.
