(EN) The invention relates to a simulator device (3) for a brake system (1) having a brake pedal (1a), wherein by means of a transmission mechanism for generating a restoring force which increases progressively over the pedal travel the brake pedal co-operates with an elastic element (136) of the simulator device (3), wherein the simulator device (3) comprises a hydraulic chamber (150), wherein the elastic element (136) is arranged at least partially in the hydraulic chamber (150) and wherein at least one air capsule (120) is arranged in the hydraulic chamber (150). The invention further relates to a brake system.
