Abstract:
(EN) A flow control valve has a central shaft, with a resilient tubular member extending therethrough and defining a fluid flow path. A plurality of balls are positioned in apertures in the central shaft. A bell housing is engaged with the central shaft for longitudinal movement relative thereto, and has an angled internal camming surface in contact with an outside edge of each one of the balls. Longitudinal movement of the bell housing relative to the central shaft in a first direction causes radially inward movement of the plurality of balls to decrease a cross-sectional area of the fluid flow path.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une soupape de régulation de débit dotée d'un arbre central et d'un élément tubulaire élastique qui s'étend à travers celui-ci et définit un trajet d'écoulement de fluide. Une pluralité de billes est positionnée dans des ouvertures dans l'arbre central. Un boîtier en cloche est en prise avec l'arbre central de manière à permettre un mouvement longitudinal par rapport à celui-ci et bénéficie d'une surface de came interne inclinée en contact avec un bord extérieur de chacune des billes. Un mouvement longitudinal du boîtier en cloche par rapport à l'arbre central dans une première direction provoque le déplacement radial vers l'intérieur de la pluralité de billes, ce qui réduit une surface en section transversale du trajet d'écoulement de fluide.
