Abstract:
(EN) Coumarin modification of epoxies provide for epoxy adhesives that fluoresce under short wave ultraviolet irradiation while remaining invisible under normal light. Furthermore, these modified epoxy adhesives can have increased adhesive bond strengths. In addition, photochemical curing of an epoxy modified coumarin and a hardening agent with UV irradiation at certain wavelengths affords an epoxy adhesive composition. Further UV irradiation of the composition at certain wavelengths causes photoscission, which breaks the crosslinks that make the cured epoxy adhesive insoluble and intractable.
(FR) La présente invention concerne la modification coumarine d’époxy destinés aux adhésifs époxy qui effectuent une fluorescence sous irradiation ultraviolette de courte longueur d’onde tout en restant invisibles à la lumière normale. En outre, ces adhésifs époxy modifiés peuvent présenter des forces de liaison adhésives accrues. De plus, le durcissement photochimique d’un époxy modifié à la coumarine et d’un agent de durcissement avec irradiation UV à certaines longueurs d’onde fournit une composition adhésive époxy. En outre l’irradiation UV de la composition à certaines longueurs d’onde entraîne la photoscission, qui rompt les liaisons qui rendent l’adhésif époxy durci insoluble et non rétrécissable.
