Abstract:
(EN) Systems and techniques described herein include jointly decoding coded data of different codes, including different coding algorithms, finite fields, and/or source blocks sizes. The techniques described herein can be used to improve existing distributed storage systems by allowing gradual data migration. The techniques can further be used within existing storage clients to allow application data to be stored within diverse different distributed storage systems.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés consistant à décoder conjointement des données codées de codes différents comprenant différents algorithmes de codage, champs finis, et/ou tailles de blocs source. Les procédés selon l'invention peuvent être utilisés pour améliorer des systèmes de stockage distribués existants en autorisant une migration progressive des données. Les procédés peuvent également être utilisés dans les clients de stockage afin de permettre à des données d'application d'être stockées dans divers systèmes de stockage distribué différents.
