Abstract:
(EN) Method for joining incompatible materials that includes the steps of welding a first component (12) formed of a thermoplastic material and a second component (14) of a porous material to one another to form a subassembly and molding a third component (20) around the subassembly (10). The method enables the incompatible first component and the third component to be joined to one another, such as to form an electrolyte battery flow frame around an ion exchange material and/or microporous separator material in order to form a separator for an electrolyte flow battery.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'assembler des matériaux incompatibles qui comprend les étapes consistant à souder l'un à l'autre un premier élément (12) formé d'un matériau thermoplastique et un deuxième élément (14) formé d'un matériau poreux pour former un sous-ensemble et mouler un troisième élément (20) autour du sous-ensemble (10). Le procédé permet d'assembler l'un à l'autre le premier élément et le troisième élément incompatibles, de manière à former une structure de circulation pour batterie à électrolyte autour d'un matériau échangeur d'ions et/ou d'un matériau de séparation microporeux, de manière à former un séparateur destiné à une batterie à circulation d'électrolyte.
