Abstract:
(EN) A speaker assembly for being mounted within a wall is provided. The speaker assembly has a housing and a plurality of transducers supported by the housing. Each transducer has a front radiation surface and a radiation rear surface adapted to radiate sound along a central axis. The transducers are arranged relative to each other so the central axes of acoustic radiation of each of the transducers intersect at a circumcenter defined between the plurality of transducers to substantially cancel vibrations from the plurality of transducers. A slot is formed adjacent of each of the transducers. The slot extending a depth dimension of the assembly between a slot opening for transmitting acoustic radiation from the plurality of transducers and a back wall of the housing, wherein the depth dimension is generally perpendicular to the central axes of acoustic radiation of each of the transducers.

Chaque transducteur comporte une surface de rayonnement avant et une surface arrière de rayonnement conçus pour faire rayonner le son le long d'un axe central. Les transducteurs sont agencés les uns par rapport aux autres de telle sorte que les axes centraux de rayonnement acoustique de chacun des transducteurs se croisent au niveau du centre d'un cercle circonscrit défini entre la pluralité de transducteurs et afin d'annuler sensiblement les vibrations de la pluralité de transducteurs. Une fente est formée de manière adjacente à chacun des transducteurs. La fente s'étend sur une dimension de profondeur de l'ensemble entre une ouverture de fente pour transmettre le rayonnement acoustique provenant de la pluralité de transducteurs et une paroi arrière du boîtier, la dimension de profondeur étant globalement perpendiculaire aux axes centraux de rayonnement acoustique de chacun des transducteurs.
