Abstract:
(EN) Various devices, systems and methods for detecting a susceptibility of an infectious agent to an anti-infective are described herein. A method comprises introducing a fluid sample to a first surface and a second surface; exposing the first surface to a first solution; exposing the second surface to a second solution, wherein the second surface comprises an anti-infective; sampling the first solution after exposing the first solution to the first surface; sampling the second solution after exposing the second solution to the second surface; monitoring a first electrical characteristic of a first electrolyte-insulator-semiconductor (EIS) sensor exposed to the first solution sampled; monitoring a second electrical characteristic of a second EIS sensor exposed to the second solution sampled; and comparing the first electrical characteristic and the second electrical characteristic to assess the susceptibility of the infectious agent to the anti-infective.
(FR) La présente invention concerne divers dispositifs, systèmes et procédés permettant de détecter la sensibilité d'un agent infectieux à un agent anti-infectieux. Un procédé consiste à déposer un échantillon de fluide sur une première surface et une seconde surface; à exposer la première surface à une première solution; à exposer la seconde surface à une seconde solution, la seconde surface comportant un agent anti-infectieux; à échantillonner la première solution après exposition de la première solution à la première surface; à échantillonner la seconde solution après exposition de la seconde solution à la seconde surface; à surveiller une première caractéristique électrique d'un premier capteur à électrolyte-isolant-semi-conducteur (EIS) exposé à la première solution échantillonnée; à surveiller une seconde caractéristique électrique d'un second capteur EIS exposé à la seconde solution échantillonnée; et à comparer la première caractéristique électrique et la seconde caractéristique électrique pour évaluer la la sensibilité de l'agent infectieux à l'agent anti-infectieux.
