Abstract:
(EN) We provide a process for regenerating a spent acidic ionic liquid, comprising contacting the spent acidic ionic liquid with hydrogen and without an addition of a hydrogenation catalyst; wherein a conjunct polymer content is decreased in the spent acidic ionic liquid to produce regenerated acidic ionic liquid. We also provide a process for making an alkylate gasoline blending component, comprising: a) alkylating a mixture of isoparaffins and olefins using an acidic ionic liquid and an alkyl halide or a hydrogen halide, wherein a conjunct polymer accumulates in a spent acidic ionic liquid; and b) feeding the spent acidic ionic liquid and a hydrogen, and without an addition of a hydrogenation catalyst, to a regeneration reactor operated under selected hydrogenation conditions to produce a regenerated acidic ionic liquid that is used for the alkylating, wherein the conjunct polymer in the regenerated acidic ionic liquid is decreased by at least 50 wt%.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de régénération d'un liquide ionique acide épuisé, qui consiste à placer le liquide ionique acide épuisé au contact d'un hydrogène et sans ajout d'un catalyseur d'hydrogénation, la teneur d'un polymère enchaîné étant réduite dans le liquide ionique acide épuisé pour produire un liquide ionique acide régénéré. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'un constituant de mélange d'essence alkylat qui consiste: a) à alkyler un mélange d'isoparaffines et d'oléfines à l'aide d'un liquide ionique acide et d'un halogénure d'alkyle ou d'un halogénure d'hydrogène, un polymère enchaîné s'accumulant dans un liquide ionique acide épuisé; et b) à introduire le liquide ionique acide épuisé et un hydrogène, et sans ajout d'un catalyseur d'hydrogénation, à un réacteur de régénération fonctionnant dans des conditions d'hydrogénation choisies pour produire un liquide ionique acide régénéré utilisé pour l'alkylation, le polymère enchaîné dans le liquide ionique acide régénéré étant réduit d'au moins 50% en poids.
