CLAIMS

What is claimed is:

Claim 1. A portable outlet device, comprising:

a power module main body having a top wall and a plurality of upstanding walls defining an internal cavity;

one or more AC receptacles that are disposed along the power module main body;

a power cord having a plug along a distal end thereof, said power cord being in communication with the power module; and

an elongated fin member that is in communication with a bottom end of the power module, said fin member including a body having a first side surface, a second side surface, a bottom edge, a top edge, a front edge and a rear edge.

Claim 2. The device of claim 1, wherein the elongated fin member is pivotally secured to the power module via a connector.

Claim 3. The device of claim 2, wherein the connector is configured to rotate the power module 360 degrees horizontally with respect to the elongated fin member.

Claim 4. The device of claim 2, wherein the connector is configured to pivot the power module across a vertical axis, with respect to the elongated fin member.

Claim 5. The device of claim 2, wherein the connector includes a dual axis hinge that is configured to rotate the power module 360 degrees horizontally with respect to the elongated fin member; and

pivot the power module across a vertical axis, with respect to the elongated fin member.

Claim 6. The device of claim 1, further comprising:

one or more DC connector ports that are disposed along the power module main body.

Claim 7. The device of claim 6, further comprising:

a plurality of AC receptacles and a plurality of DC connector ports, wherein at least one of the plurality of AC receptacles and one of the plurality of DC connector ports are positioned along different walls of the power module main body.

Claim 8. The device of claim 6, further comprising:

a transformer that is positioned within the internal cavity, said transformer functioning to change an AC input voltage to a plurality of different output DC voltages.

Claim 9. The device of claim 8, wherein the transformer is configured to sense a voltage requirement of an electronic device that is plugged into one of the plurality of DC connector ports and to automatically provide the required voltage to the one DC connector port.

Claim 10. The device of claim 8, wherein the transformer is further configured to perform wireless charging of a portable electronic device.

Claim 11. The device of claim 1, further comprising:

a plurality of ridges that are positioned along one or both of the first and second side surfaces of the body of the elongated fin member.

Claim 12. The device of claim 1, wherein the body of the elongated fin member includes a generally wedge shape having a dimension that is suitable for being removably inserted vertically between two cushions of a sofa.

Claim 13. The device of claim 1, wherein the body of the elongated fin member includes a central bend, said bend forming a generally right angle shape that is suitable for being removably positioned along two sides of a single sofa cushion.

Claim 14. The device of claim 1, further comprising:

an upstanding lip that is disposed along one edge of the top wall.
