Abstract:
(EN) A method for assessing a state of a living cell using surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) is provided. The m ethod m ay include modifying one or more living eel Is with an alkyne -containing com pound to form one or more modified living cells, mixing the one or more modified living cells with a SERS-active material to form a m ixture, injecting the m ixture into a conduitdefined by an innerwall of a hollow core photonic crystal fiber, and detecting a surface enhanced Raman signal from the mixture in the conduit. In preferred embodiments, the alkyne containing compound is linoleamide alkyne (LLA) for the detection of lipid peroxidation or 4-(dihydroxyborophenyl) acetylene (DBA) for the detection of sialic acid expression in cells, both using gold nanoparticles as the SERS-active material.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé pour évaluer l'état d'une cellule vivante par spectroscopie Raman exaltée en surface (SERS). Le procédé peut consister à modifier une ou plusieurs cellules vivantes avec un composé contenant un alcyne pour former une ou plusieurs cellules vivantes modifiées, mélanger lesdites une ou plusieurs cellules vivantes modifiées avec un matériau à activité SERS pour former un mélange, injecter le mélange dans un conduit défini par une paroi interne d'une fibre cristalline photonique à âme creuse, et détecter un signal Raman exalté en surface provenant du mélange dans le conduit. Dans des modes de réalisation préférés, le composé contenant un alcyne est un alcyne de linoléamide (LLA) pour la détection d'une peroxydation lipidique ou du 4-(dihydroxyborophényl)acétylène (DBA) pour la détection de l'expression d'acide sialique dans les cellules, les deux utilisant des nanoparticules d'or comme matériau à activité SERS.
