Abstract:
(EN) Provided are the following: a ceria·zirconia-based composite oxide oxygen absorption/release material which has a rapid oxygen absorption/release rate and which has an OSC function capable of responding rapidly to an exhaust gas composition in which there are no large fluctuations in terms of atmosphere but which changes rapidly close to the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio; an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst; and a honeycomb structure for exhaust gas cleaning. This oxygen absorption/release material is a ceria·zirconia-based composite oxide and is characterized by having a composition whereby the molar ratio of cerium and zirconium is such that cerium / (cerium + zirconium) is 0.33-0.90 and the ion conductance, as measured using an alternating current impedance method, is 1×10-5 S/cm or more at 400°C, and in that one or more rare earth metal ions M selected from among Sm3+, Eu3+, Pr3+, Gd3+ and Dy3+, each of which has a coordination number of more than 7.0, are contained at a quantity of 0.5-15 mol.% relative to the total quantity of cations.
(FR) L'invention concerne un matériau d'absorption/libération d'oxygène oxyde composite à base de cérium·zircone qui présente une vitesse d'absorption/libération rapide de l'oxygène et qui présente une fonction de capacité de stockage en oxygène (OSC) apte à réagir rapidement à une composition de gaz d'échappement dans laquelle il n'y a pas de grandes fluctuations en termes d'atmosphère mais qui change rapidement à proximité du rapport air-carburant stœchiométrique ; un catalyseur de purification de gaz d'échappement ; et une structure en nid d'abeilles pour la purification de gaz d'échappement. Ce matériau d'absorption/libération d'oxygène est un oxyde composite à base de cérium·zircone et est caractérisé en ce qu'il a une composition telle que le rapport molaire de cérium et de zirconium, cérium/(cérium +zirconium), est de 0,33 à 0,90 et la conductance ionique, mesurée par un procédé d'impédance à courant alternatif, est de 1×10-5 S/cm ou plus à 400 °C, et en ce qu'un ou plusieurs ions de métal des terres rares M choisis parmi le Sm3+, l'Eu3+, le Pr3+, le Gd3+ et le Dy3+, qui ont chacun un indice de coordination supérieur à 7,0, sont présents en une quantité de 0,5 à 15 % molaire par rapport à la quantité totale de cations.
