Abstract:
(EN) Metallic sodium sealed in an engine valve for use in an internal combustion engine such as an automobile engine preferably has high purity, but little attention has conventionally been paid to organic solvents remaining within micropores in the surface of the metallic sodium. In this method for purifying metallic sodium, metallic sodium (60) containing an organic solvent within micropores in the surface thereof is accommodated in a sealed melting tank (12) and the organic solvent in the metallic sodium is vaporized and removed by heating and decompression.
(FR) Le sodium métallique scellé dans une soupape de moteur pour un moteur à combustion interne tel qu'un moteur d'automobile présente de préférence une pureté élevée, mais l'attention habituellement portée aux solvants organiques restant dans les micropores à la surface du sodium métallique est faible. Dans ce procédé de purification de sodium métallique, du sodium métallique (60) contenant un solvant organique dans des micropores à sa surface est logé dans une cuve de fusion scellée (12) et le solvant organique dans le sodium métallique est vaporisé et éliminé par chauffage et décompression.
(JA) 自動車用エンジンなどの内燃機関に用いられるエンジンバルブに封入される金属ナトリウムは高純度であることが好ましいが、従来は、この金属ナトリウムの表面微細孔内に残存する有機溶媒に関しては殆ど関心が払われていなかった。表面微細孔中に有機溶媒を含有する金属ナトリウム(60)を密閉した溶融タンク(12)に収容し、加熱及び減圧により、前記金属ナトリウム中の前記有機溶媒を気化させ除去する。
