Abstract:
(EN) A moving wing aerial vehicle is rendered collision tolerant by a cage (8) of generally spherical shape, which envelopes the lift assembly. The cage (8) is formed including an annular equatorial track (14). Spokes (2,3) extend from the lift assembly and support a rolling element bearing (10) which is urged to engage in the track (14) so that the cage can freely rotate in any direction around the lift assembly. The resulting aerial vehicle reduces the number of manufacturing steps and the weight of the cage while allowing the aerial vehicle to recover from collisions without damage to the aerial vehicle, the thing or person collided with.
(FR) L'invention concerne un véhicule aérien à ailes mobiles, qui est rendu résistant aux collisions par une cage (8) de forme généralement sphérique, qui enveloppe l'ensemble de levage. La cage (8) est formée en ayant une piste équatoriale annulaire (14). Des rayons (2, 3) s'étendent depuis l'ensemble de levage et supportent un roulement d'élément roulant (10) qui est poussé pour s'engager dans la piste (14) de telle sorte que la cage peut librement tourner dans une direction quelconque autour de l'ensemble de levage. Le véhicule aérien obtenu réduit le nombre d'étapes de fabrication et le poids de la cage tout en permettant au véhicule aérien de se remettre de collisions sans endommager le véhicule aérien, l'objet ou la personne heurté.
