Abstract:
(EN) A method for establishing a TCP connection between a first end-point (1) and a second end-point (3) aims at reducing TCP end-to-end transfer time and thereby accelerating the data transfer. The method comprises: establishing a first TCP connection between said first end-point (1) and said second end-point (3), said second end-point (3) dynamically deciding on redirecting said first TCP connection via a chain of proxies (5) that interconnects said first and said second end-points (1; 3), in case of a redirection decision by said second end-point (3), said first end- point (1) establishing a new TCP connection with the first proxy (5-1) of said chain of proxies (5), and establishing a segmented TCP connection between said first end-point (1) and said second end-point (3) via said chain of proxies (5) and transferring data between said first end-point (1) and said second end-point (3) through said chain of proxies (5).
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'établir une connexion au protocole TCP entre un premier point terminal (1) et un second point terminal (3) qui vise à réduire le temps de transfert de bout en bout du protocole TCP6 et à accélérer ainsi le transfert de données. Le procédé comprend : l'établissement d'une première connexion TCP entre ledit premier point terminal (1) et ledit second point terminal (3), ledit second point terminal (3) décidant de manière dynamique de rediriger ladite première connexion TCP par l'intermédiaire d'une chaîne de serveurs mandataires (5), laquelle interconnecte lesdits premier et second points terminaux (1; 3); et en cas de décision de redirection par ledit second point terminal (3), ledit premier point terminal (1) établissant une nouvelle connexion TCP avec le premier serveur mandataire (5-1) de ladite chaîne de serveurs mandataires (5), établissant une connexion TCP segmentée entre ledit premier point terminal (1) et ledit second point terminal (3) via ladite chaîne de serveurs mandataires (5) et transférant les données entre ledit premier point terminal (1) et ledit second point terminal (3) au travers de ladite chaîne de serveurs mandataires (5).
