Abstract:
(EN) A catalyst bed comprising a ceramic or metallic foam comprising one or more NOx reduction catalysts is described. A method for reducing the concentration of NOx in a dust containing gas stream comprising: a) passing a first gas stream containing NOx into a contacting zone; b) contacting the first gas stream with a ceramic or metallic foam catalyst bed having one or more flow paths through the catalyst bed wherein the ceramic or metallic foam comprises a NOx reduction catalyst to produce a second gas stream with a reduced NOx concentration; and c) passing the second gas stream out of the contacting zone wherein the first gas stream has a dust concentration of at least 5 mg/Nm3 and the pressure drop of the foam catalyst bed increases by 300% or less relative to the initial pressure drop of the foam catalyst bed due to dust accumulation, measured under the same conditions is also described.
(FR) Lit de catalyseur comprenant une mousse céramique ou métallique comprenant un ou plusieurs catalyseurs de réduction de NOx. La présente invention concerne également un procédé pour réduire la concentration de NOx dans un flux gazeux contenant de la poussière consistant à : a) faire passer un premier flux gazeux contenant du NOx dans une zone de mise en contact; b) mettre en contact le premier flux gazeux avec un lit de catalyseur en mousse céramique ou métallique ayant un ou plusieurs chemins d'écoulement dans le lit de catalyseur, la mousse céramique ou métallique comprenant un catalyseur de réduction de NOx pour produire un deuxième flux gazeux ayant une concentration réduite de NOx ; et c) faire passer le deuxième flux gazeux hors de la zone de mise en contact, le premier flux gazeux ayant une concentration de poussière d'au moins 5 mg/Nm3 et la chute de pression du lit de catalyseur de mousse augmente de 300 % ou moins par rapport à la chute de pression initiale du lit de catalyseur de mousse due à l'accumulation de poussière, mesurée dans les mêmes conditions.
