Abstract:
(EN) A method of routing utility lines in a vacuum insulated refrigerator structure includes forming a shell and an elongated umbilical comprising an elongated impervious sleeve and a core structure defining at least two elongated internal passageways extending lengthwise along the umbilical. The method includes sealingly connecting a first end of the sleeve to the shell at a first opening, and sealingly connecting a second end of the sleeve to the shell at a second opening. A vacuum is formed in an internal cavity of the shell. Utility lines are routed through at least one of the elongated internal passageways whereby portions of the utility lines are disposed inside the umbilical, and opposite ends of the utility lines extend out of the opposite ends of the umbilical.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'acheminer des lignes de service dans une structure de réfrigérateur isolée sous vide, consistant à former une enveloppe et une liaison ombilicale allongée comprenant un manchon imperméable allongé et une structure centrale délimitant au moins deux passages intérieurs allongés s'étendant longitudinalement le long de la liaison ombilicale. Le procédé consiste à relier de manière étanche une première extrémité du manchon à l'enveloppe au niveau d'une première ouverture, et à relier de manière étanche une seconde extrémité du manchon à l'enveloppe au niveau d'une seconde ouverture. Un vide est formé dans une cavité interne de l'enveloppe. Des lignes de service sont acheminées par le biais d'au moins l'un des passages intérieurs allongés, des parties des lignes de service étant par là-même disposées à l'intérieur de la liaison ombilicale, et des extrémités opposées des lignes de service s'étendent hors des extrémités opposées de la liaison ombilicale.
