Abstract:
(EN) A method and apparatus for auto range control are described. In one embodiment, the apparatus comprises a projector configured to project a sequence of light patterns on an object; a first camera configured to capture a sequence of images of the object illuminated with the projected light patterns; a controller coupled to the projector and first camera and operable to receive the sequence of images and perform range control by controlling power of the sequence of light patterns being projected on the object and exposure time of a camera based on information obtained from the sequence of images captured by the camera.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de commande automatique de distance. Dans un mode de réalisation, l'appareil comporte un projecteur configuré pour projeter une suite de motifs lumineux sur un objet; une première caméra configurée pour capturer une suite d'images de l'objet éclairé par les motifs lumineux projetés; un contrôleur couplé au projecteur et à la première caméra et utilisable pour recevoir la suite d'images et effectuer une commande de distance en régulant la puissance de la suite de motifs lumineux qui sont projetés sur l'objet et le temps d'exposition d'une caméra d'après des informations obtenues à partir de la suite d'images capturées par la caméra.
