Abstract:
(EN) This discloses apparatuses for industrial or commercial cooling (or any other cooling) using staged cooling towers to evaporatively reach temperatures below the wet bulb temperature of the ambient air. Methods for using such apparatuses are disclosed as well. The Inventor has developed new methods and systems that provide evaporative cooling by combining multiple direct and indirect evaporative cooling stages into one multistage evaporative cooling system to achieve cooling media (air or water) temperatures that are much lower than the initial wet bulb temperature of the ambient air.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des appareils destinés au refroidissement industriel ou commercial (ou n'importe quel autre refroidissement) faisant appel à des tours de refroidissement étagées pour atteindre par évaporation des températures en dessous de la température de bulbe humide de l'air ambiant. L'invention concerne également des procédés d'utilisation de tels appareils. L'inventeur a développé de nouveaux procédés et systèmes qui fournissent un refroidissement par évaporation en combinant plusieurs étages de refroidissement évaporatif direct et indirect en un système de refroidissement évaporatif à plusieurs étages pour obtenir des températures de milieu de refroidissement (air ou eau) qui sont bien inférieures à la température de bulbe humide initiale de l'air ambiant.
