Abstract:
(EN) A head unit control circuit controls a head unit, and is provided outside the head unit, the head unit including: an ejecting section that includes a piezoelectric element, and can eject a liquid corresponding to displacement of the piezoelectric element, the piezoelectric element being displaced corresponding to a change in potential of a drive signal when the drive signal has been supplied to the piezoelectric element; a determination circuit that determines whether or not the piezoelectric element has a predetermined electrical storage capability; and an ejection limit circuit that stops the supply of the drive signal to the piezoelectric element and limits the ejection of the liquid from the ejecting section when result of the determination is negative, the head unit control circuit including: a first terminal that outputs an instruction signal that instructs the head unit to execute the determination; a second terminal that outputs the drive signal; and a third terminal that is provided between the first terminal and the second terminal, the third terminal being smaller in potential change width than the second terminal when the ejecting section ejects the liquid.
(FR) L'invention concerne un circuit de commande d'unité de tête qui commande une unité de tête et est disposé à l'extérieur de l'unité de tête, l'unité de tête comprenant : une section d'éjection qui comprend un élément piézoélectrique et peut éjecter un liquide selon le déplacement de l'élément piézoélectrique, l'élément piézoélectrique étant déplacé selon une variation de potentiel d'un signal d'attaque lorsque le signal d'attaque a été fourni à l'élément piézoélectrique ; un circuit de détermination qui détermine si l'élément piézoélectrique a une capacité de stockage électrique prédéterminée ; et un circuit de limite d'éjection qui interrompt la fourniture du signal d'attaque à l'élément piézoélectrique et limite l'éjection du liquide depuis la section d'éjection lorsque le résultat de détermination est négatif, le circuit de commande d'unité de tête comprenant : un premier terminal qui délivre un signal d'instruction qui ordonne à l'unité de tête d'exécuter la détermination ; un deuxième terminal qui délivre le signal d'attaque ; et un troisième terminal qui est disposé entre le premier terminal et le deuxième terminal, le troisième terminal étant plus petit en largeur de variation de potentiel que le deuxième terminal lorsque la section d'éjection éjecte le liquide.
