Abstract:
(EN) An electronic device is disclosed, having electronic components and a metal case configured to house the electronic components. A power receiving element may be disposed on the metal case near an edge thereof. The power receiving element may couple with a magnetic field that emanates from the edge of the metal case, when the metal case is exposed to an externally generated magnetic field, to wirelessly receive power from the externally generated magnetic field.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un dispositif électronique présentant des composants électroniques et un boîtier métallique configuré pour loger les composants électroniques. Un élément de réception d'énergie peut être disposé sur le boîtier métallique à proximité d'un bord de ce dernier. L'élément de réception d'énergie peut être couplé à un champ magnétique qui émane du bord du boîtier métallique, lorsque le boîtier métallique est exposé à un champ magnétique généré extérieurement, pour recevoir sans fil une énergie à partir du champ magnétique généré extérieurement.
