Abstract:
(EN) Devices and methods of reducing UE power consumption are generally described. The UE selects a D2D path or cellular path to use for data communication to an eNB based on at least one of presence of a master UE, a pathloss and transmission power of the D2D and/or cellular path. The UE receives mobility information from the master UE, either an indication that cell selection or handover is to be undertaken or information of the target cell for the UE, in which case the UE does not initiate cell selection or handover. Afterwards, the UE communicates with a target eNB based on the received mobility information.
(FR) On décrit de manière générale des dispositifs et des procédés de réduction de la consommation d'énergie d'un UE. L'UE choisit un chemin D2D ou un chemin cellulaire à utiliser pour communiquer des données à un eNB sur la base d'au moins un des éléments suivants: la présence d'un UE maître, un affaiblissement de propagation, et une puissance de transmission du chemin D2D et/ou cellulaire. L'UE reçoit de l'UE maître des informations de mobilité indiquant soit qu'une sélection ou un transfert de cellules doit être entrepris, soit des informations de la cellule cible pour l'UE, auquel cas l'UE ne déclenche pas une sélection ou un transfert de cellules. Ensuite, l'UE communique avec un eNB cible sur la base des informations de mobilité reçues.
