Abstract:
(EN) A media alignment calibration system determines a slope relating a trailing edge skew value to its paired leading edge skew value and an intercept representing native skew based on a linear regression of a predetermined number of a set of paired leading and trailing edge skew values for a media type stored in a buffer. Based on the slope and intercept, a media model for the media type is updated based on the linear regression to adjust a differential velocity of a pair of aligned media feed rollers in a media feed mechanism to correct both a future native skew and future paired leading and trailing edge skew values in the buffer to within a desired operational window.
(FR) Système d'étalonnage d'alignement de supports déterminant une pente concernant une valeur d'obliquité de bord de fuite vers sa valeur d'obliquité de bord d'attaque appariée et une interception représentant l'obliquité naturelle sur la base d'une régression linéaire d'un nombre prédéfini d'un ensemble de valeurs d'obliquité de bord d'attaque et de fuite appariées pour un type de support stocké dans une mémoire-tampon. Sur la base de la pente et de l'interception, un modèle de support pour le type de support est actualisé sur la base de la régression linéaire pour ajuster une vitesse différentielle d'une paire de rouleaux d'alimentation en supports alignés un mécanisme d'alimentation en supports afin de corriger à la fois une obliquité naturelle future et des valeurs d'obliquité de bord d'attaque et de fuite appariées futures dans la mémoire-tampon dans une fenêtre opérationnelle souhaitée.
