(EN) The present invention provides a liquid crystal display element (1), which is provided with: a liquid crystal cell (2) that has a liquid crystal layer; a first polarizing plate (3) on the back side and a second polarizing plate (4) on the front side; and an optical compensation plate (5), wherein the angle formed by a transmission axis of the first polarizing plate (3) and an abnormal light beam axis of the optical compensation plate (5) is adjusted so that the differential coefficient to a time t of transmitted light quantities I1 and I2 satisfies the relationship of | ∂I2 / ∂t | > | ∂I1 / ∂t |, I1representing the transmitted light quantity of the fall time of a drive voltage when the placement of the optical compensation plate (5) is omitted, and I2 representing the transmitted light quantity of a fall time of a drive voltage when the optical compensation plate (5) is placed, thereby improving an optical response when falling from a drive voltage V1 to a drive voltage V2 (
(FR) La présente invention concerne un élément d'affichage à cristaux liquides (1), qui est pourvu de : une cellule à cristaux liquides (2) qui comporte une couche de cristaux liquides; une première plaque polarisante (3) sur le côté arrière et une deuxième plaque polarisante (4) sur le côté avant; et une plaque de compensation optique (5), l'angle formé par un axe de transmission de la première plaque polarisante (3) et un axe de faisceau lumineux anormal de la plaque de compensation optique (5) étant ajusté de sorte que le coefficient différentiel à un temps t de quantités de lumière transmise I1 et I2 satisfasse à la relation de| ∂I2 / ∂t | > | ∂I1 / ∂t |, I1 représentant la quantité de lumière transmise du temps de chute d'une tension de commande lorsque le placement de la plaque de compensation optique (5) est omis, et I2 représentant la quantité de lumière transmise d'un temps de chute d'une tension de commande lorsque la plaque de compensation optique (5) est placée, de manière à améliorer une réponse optique lors de la chute d'une tension de commande V1 à une tension de commande V2 (< V1).
(JA) 本発明では、液晶層を有する液晶セル(2)と、背面側の第1の偏光板(3)及び前面側の第2の偏光板(4)と、光学補償板(5)とを備える液晶表示素子(1)において、光学補償板(5)の配置を省略した場合の駆動電圧の立下り時の透過光量をIとし、光学補償板が配置された場合の駆動電圧の立下り時の透過光量Iとし、各透過光量I,Iの時間tに対する微分係数が|∂Ι/∂t|>|∂Ι/∂t|の関係を満足するように、第1の偏光板(3)の透過軸と光学補償板(5)の異常光線軸とのなす角度を調整することにより、駆動電圧V1から駆動電圧V2(<V1)への立ち下がり時の光学応答を改善する。
