Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a polarizing film having high optical characteristics irrespective of whether the boron content is suppressed and the shrinkage force is lowered. The method for manufacturing a polarizing film from a polyvinyl alcohol resin film, the polarizing film having a boron content of 1.5-3.0% by weight, wherein the method includes a dyeing step for dyeing the polyvinyl alcohol resin film using a dichroic dye, a cross-linking step for treating the film after the dyeing step using a cross-linking agent including at least boric acid, a first stretching step for uniaxially stretching the polyvinyl alcohol resin film during and/or prior to the cross-linking step, and a second stretching step for uniaxially stretching the polyvinyl alcohol resin film after the cross-linking step.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un film polarisant doté de caractéristiques optiques élevées même lorsque la teneur en bore est supprimée et que la force de rétrécissement est réduite. Le procédé de fabrication de film polarisant selon l'invention consiste à fabriquer un film à partir d'un film de résine d'alcool polyvinylique, le film polarisant présentant une teneur en bore comprise entre 1,5 et 3 % en poids, ce procédé comprenant une étape de coloration destinée à colorer le film de résine d'alcool polyvinylique au moyen d'un colorant dichroïque, une étape de réticulation destinée à traiter le film après l'étape de coloration au moyen d'un agent de réticulation contenant au moins de l'acide borique, une première étape d'étirage destinée à étirer uniaxialement le film de résine d'alcool polyvinylique pendant et/ou avant l'étape de réticulation, ainsi qu'une deuxième étape d'étirage destinée à étirer uniaxialement le film de résine d'alcool polyvinylique après l'étape de réticulation.
