Abstract:
(EN) A replication method for use within CAD software ignores parametric requirements and instead searches 3D geometry of components mated to a replication candidate directly for geometric elements that are identical to those on which the candidate is constrained. The system counts the number of identical geometric elements to determine the number of candidate instances to replicate, and then constrains one instance to each element with constraints equivalent to the constraints applying to the original candidate.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de réplication destiné à être utilisé dans un logiciel de CAO qui ignore les exigences paramétriques et, au lieu de cela, recherche une géométrie 3D de composants accouplés directement à un candidat de réplication pour des éléments géométriques qui sont identiques à ceux auxquels le candidat est limité. Le système compte le nombre d'éléments géométriques identiques pour déterminer le nombre d'instances candidates à répliquer, puis limite une instance à chaque élément avec des contraintes équivalentes aux contraintes qui s'appliquent au candidat original.
