Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a composite electrode (1) for a metal-air electrochemical cell (10) with a liquid electrolyte (3) having a basic pH. A liquid solution (20) including a fluoropolymer (9) suspended in a solvent (21) is synthesized, then deposited on the outer surface (25) of a porous structure (7) forming an air electrode. The fluoropolymer includes SO2N groups suitable for driving hydroxyl ions (4) and is capable of forming a membrane (8) impervious to at least the liquid electrolyte having a basic pH. When the liquid solution is applied to the porous structure, the solvent flows through the porous structure and the fluoropolymer is deposited by aggregating in the form of a layer (22) on the outer surface of the porous structure.
(FR) L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de fabrication d'une électrode composite (1) pour cellule électrochimique (10) de type métal-air à électrolyte liquide (3) de pH basique. Une solution liquide (20) comprenant un polymère fluoré (9) en suspension dans un solvant (21) est synthétisée, puis déposée sur la surface extérieure (25) d'une structure poreuse (7) formant une électrode à air. Le polymère fluoré comprend des groupements SO2N aptes à conduire des ions hydroxyle (4) et est apte à former une membrane (8) étanche au moins à l'électrolyte liquide de pH basique. Lors de l'application de la solution liquide sur la structure poreuse, le solvant s'écoule à travers la structure poreuse et le polymère fluoré se dépose en s 'agrégeant sous forme de couche (22) sur la surface extérieure de la structure poreuse.
