Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a device for communication in an IP network, making it possible to increase considerably the bandwidth available for wireless communication between user terminals and the correspondents thereof in the IP network. The device operates as an aggregation router which, via a single network interface, makes it possible to allocate the received data streams to various wireless routers configured in a so-called aggregated router mode systematically using a network address translation (NAT) mechanism for all traffic routed between the LAN and WAN interfaces, and to allow the connected terminals to benefit from the aggregated bandwidth of the aggregated wireless routers.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un dispositif de communication dans un réseau IP permettant d'accroitre significativement la bande passante disponible pour des communications sans-fil entre des terminaux utilisateurs et leurs correspondants dans le réseau IP. Le dispositif opère comme routeur d'agrégation qui via une unique interface réseau permet d'allouer les flux de données reçus vers différents routeurs sans-fil configurés selon un mode dit routeur agrégé utilisant systématiquement un mécanisme de translation d'adresse réseau (NAT) pour tout trafic routé entre les interfaces LAN et WAN, et permettre aux terminaux connectés de bénéficier de la bande passante agrégée des routeurs sans-fil agrégés.
