Abstract:
(EN) A method (31) for measuring the fresh air flow rate MAF entering an intake manifold (12) of a two-stroke engine, the intake manifold (12) being located between a butterfly housing (11) and an intake system (13). The method uses a specific prediction model depending on whether the two-stroke engine experiences either low load on one hand, or medium or high load on the other hand. Selection of the appropriate model depending on the load is obtained by means of a predetermined threshold as well as two absolute pressure measurements taken at the intake manifold at crankshaft rotation angles around top dead center and bottom dead center. Then, a pressure quotient is formed for each model which will serve to deduce the fresh air flow rate entering the intake manifold.
(FR) Un procédé (31) de mesure du débit d'air frais, MAF, entrant dans un collecteur d'admission (12) d'un moteur à deux temps, le collecteur d'admission (12) étant situé entre un boîtier papillon (11) et un système d'admission (13). Le procédé utilise un modèle de prédiction spécifique selon que le moteur à deux temps présente, d'une part, une charge faible et, d'autre part, une charge moyenne ou forte. La sélection du modèle approprié selon la charge, est obtenue grâce à un seuil prédéterminé ainsi que deux mesures de pression absolue obtenues au niveau du collecteur d'admission à des angles de rotation de vilebrequin autour du point mort haut et du point mort bas. Ensuite, on forme un quotient de pression pour chaque modèle qui servira pour déduire le débit d'air frais entrant dans le collecteur d'amission.
