Abstract:
(EN) A 3D printing ink comprising a radio-opaque additive and a polymer ink and a method for 3D printing of anatomic replicas using the 3D printing ink are described. The radio-opaque additive is bismuth neodecanoate, and the amount of bismuth neodecanoate in the printing ink may range from about 6% to about 20% by weight. The polymer ink may be transparent or opaque. X-rays of anatomic replicas created with the 3D printing ink appear very similar to x-rays of organic hard tissues, thereby enhancing procedural training for health care professionals.
(FR) L’invention concerne une encre d'impression 3D comprenant un additif radio-opaque et une encre polymère ainsi qu’un procédé d'impression 3D de répliques anatomiques mettant en œuvre l'encre d'impression 3D. L'additif radio-opaque est le néodécanoate de bismuth, et la quantité du néodécanoate de bismuth dans l'encre d'impression peut varier d'environ 6 % à environ 20 % en poids. L'encre polymère peut être transparente ou opaque. Les rayons x de répliques anatomiques créés au moyen de l'encre d'impression 3D paraissent très semblables aux rayons x de tissus durs organiques, ce qui permet d'améliorer la formation relative aux interventions des professionnels de santé.
