Abstract:
(EN) A verifiable display is provided that enables the visual content of the display to be detected and confirmed in a variety of ambient lighting conditions, enviroments, and operational states. In particular, the verifiable display has a display layer that is capable of visually setting an intended message for human or machine reading, with the intendended message being set using pixels. Depending on the operational condition of the display and the ambient light, for example, the message that is actually displayed and perceivable may vary from the intended message. To detect what message is actually displayed, a light detection layer in the verifiable display detects the illumination state of the pixels, and in that way is able to detect what message is actually being presented by the display layer.
(FR) Écran d'affichage vérifiable permettant au contenu visuel de l'écran d'affichage d'être détecté et confirmé dans diverses conditions d'éclairage ambiant, divers environnements et divers états de fonctionnement. En particulier, l'écran d'affichage vérifiable comporte une couche d'affichage qui peut établir visuellement un message voulu pour lecture humaine ou par machine, le message voulu étant établi à l'aide de pixels. En fonction de l'état de fonctionnement de l'écran d'affichage et de la lumière ambiante, par exemple, le message qui est réellement affiché et perceptible peut varier du message voulu. Pour détecter quel message est réellement affiché, une couche de détection de lumière dans l'écran d'affichage vérifiable détecte l'état d'éclairage des pixels, et ainsi peut détecter quel message est réellement présenté par la couche d'affichage.
