Abstract:
(EN) The present disclosure provides a molding system (200) and a method of heating a material inside a molding system. The molding system includes a thermally-insulative barrel (210, 310), a screw (202, 302) received inside the barrel(210, 310) and rotatable relative to the barrel, and a heat source received inside the barrel for heating an annular space defined between the barrel and the screw (210, 310). The method of heating a material inside a molding system preferably includes applying inductive heat to a magnetic screw (302) positioned inside an insulative barrel (310) to prepare a material for extrusion.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système de moulage (200) et un procédé de chauffage d'un matériau à l'intérieur d'un système de moulage. Le système de moulage comprend un cylindre thermiquement isolant (210, 310), une vis accueillie à l'intérieur du cylindre (210, 310) et pouvant tourner par rapport au cylindre, et une source de chaleur accueillie à l'intérieur du cylindre pour chauffer un espace annulaire défini entre le cylindre et la vis (210, 310). Le procédé de chauffage d'un matériau à l'intérieur d'un système de moulage comprend de préférence l'application d'une chaleur d'induction à une vis magnétique (302) positionnée à l'intérieur d'un cylindre isolant (310) pour préparer un matériau destiné à l'extrusion.
