Abstract:
(EN) A downhole closed loop method for controlling a curvature of a subterranean wellbore while drilling includes controlling a direction of drilling such that the drilling attitude is substantially equal to a setpoint attitude. A setpoint rate of penetration is processed in combination with a setpoint dogleg severity to compute a setpoint attitude increment. The setpoint attitude may be adjusted by the setpoint attitude increment. The setpoint attitude may be incremented at some interval to control the curvature of the wellbore while drilling.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé en boucle fermée de fond de trou permettant de commander une courbure d'un puits de forage souterrain pendant un forage, qui consiste à commander une direction de forage de sorte que l'attitude de forage est sensiblement égale à une attitude de consigne. Un taux de pénétration de consigne est traité en combinaison avec un niveau de trou coudé de consigne pour calculer un incrément d'attitude de consigne. La attitude de consigne peut être réglée par l'incrément d'attitude de consigne. L'attitude de consigne peut être incrémentée à un certain intervalle pour commander la courbure du puits de forage pendant le forage.
