Abstract:
(EN) Provided are systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for improving accuracy of GPS in luminaires (118, 120). For example, in one embodiment, there is provided a method that includes receiving, at a controller coupled to a luminaire (118, 120), a GPS message. The method further includes extracting information from the GPS message, the information including data associated with a plurality of coordinates. Furthermore, the method can include determining, based on the information and not from the coordinates, an error associated with each coordinate of the plurality of coordinates. The method can also include discarding coordinates for which the error fails to satisfy a predetermined condition. Moreover, the method can include selecting, as a location of the luminaire (118, 120), the coordinates for which the error satisfies the predetermined condition.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes, des procédés et des supports de stockage lisibles par ordinateur permettant d'améliorer la précision du GPS dans des luminaires (118, 120). Par exemple, dans un mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne un procédé qui consiste à recevoir, sur un contrôleur couplé à un luminaire (118, 120), un message GPS. Le procédé consiste également à extraire des informations du message GPS, les informations comprenant des données associées à une pluralité de coordonnées. De plus, le procédé peut consister à déterminer, d'après les informations et non les coordonnées, une erreur associée à chaque coordonnée de la pluralité de coordonnées. Le procédé peut consister également à éliminer des coordonnées pour lesquelles l'erreur ne remplit pas une condition prédéterminée.
