c.
With regard to any nucleotide and/or amino acid sequence disclosed in the international application, the international search was carried out on the basis of a sequence listing:
2. Certain claims were found unsearchable
3. Unity of invention is lacking
This International Searching Authority found multiple inventions in this international application, as follows:
1. claims: 1-4, 37, 38
Claims 1-4,37,38 define an integrated electrically conductive surfacing material comprising a stiffening layer selected from a non-porous thermoplastic layer, curable resin layer comprising a thermoset and curing agent, a conductive layer and a nonwoven layer wherein the stiffening layer and the nonwoven layer are outermost layers and the exposed surfaces of the outermost layers are substantially tack-free at room temperature.
2. claims: 1, 5-20, 37, 38
Claims 1,5-20,37,38 define an integrated electrically conductive surfacing material comprising a stiffening layer selected from a woven fabric or nonwoven veil that is infused or coated with a curable resin, curable resin layer comprising a thermoset and curing agent, a conductive layer and a nonwoven layer wherein the stiffening layer and the nonwoven layer are outermost layers and the exposed surfaces of the outermost layers are substantially tack-free at room temperature.
3. claims: 21-40
Claims 21-40 define an integrated electrically conductive surfacing material comprising a stiffening layer selected from a woven fabric or nonwoven veil that is not infused or coated with a resin composition, curable resin layer comprising a thermoset and curing agent, a porous conductive layer embedded in the curable resin layer and a nonwoven layer wherein the stiffening layer and the nonwoven layer are outermost layers and the exposed surfaces of the outermost layers are substantially tack-free at room temperature.
4. claims: 41-52
Claims 41-52 a composite panel comprising prepreg plies, a first and second curable resin layer and a barrier layer wherein the first resin layer is an outermost layer, the second resin layer is between the barrier layer and the prepreg plies and the first and second resin layer do not comprise reinforcement fibers.
1.
As all required additional search fees were timely paid by the applicant, this international search report covers all searchable claims.
2.
As all searchable claims could be searched without effort justifying additional fees, this Authority did not invite payment of additional fees.
3.
As only some of the required additional search fees were timely paid by the applicant, this international search report covers only those claims for which fees were paid, specifically claims Nos.:
4.
No required additional search fees were timely paid by the applicant. Consequently, this international search report is restricted to the invention first mentioned in the claims; it is covered by claims Nos.: 1-4, 37, 38
Remark on Protest
The additional search fees were accompanied by the applicant’s protest and, where applicable, the payment of a protest fee.
The additional search fees were accompanied by the applicant’s protest but the applicable protest fee was not paid within the time limit specified in the invitation.
