Abstract:
(EN) Aspects of the technology disclosed herein generally (and in part) relates to use of Angiogenin (ANG) for increasing hematopoietic reconstitution of in vivo hematopoietic cells and transplanted hematopoietic cells. Provided herein are methods and compositions useful in treatment of diseases characterized by decreased levels of hematopoietic cells, decreased levels of hematopoietic reconstitution, blood cell deficiency and prevention and treatment of radiation injury. One aspect relates to angiogenin treated hematopoietic cell compositions and methods of their use in stem cell transplantation. Treatment of hematopoietic cells with angiogenin enhances quiescence and reduces proliferative capacity of primitive hematopoietic stem cells while increasing proliferation of myeloid restricted progenitor cells. Another aspect relates to use of ANG in prophylactic and therapeutic treatment methods for radiation injury.
(FR) Les aspects de la technologie ci-décrite concernent de manière générale (et en partie) l'utilisation de l'angiogénine (ANG) pour accroître la reconstitution hématopoïétique des cellules hématopoïétiques in vivo et des cellules hématopoïétiques greffées. L'invention concerne des méthodes et des compositions utiles dans le traitement de maladies caractérisées par des niveaux réduits de cellules hématopoïétiques, des niveaux réduits de reconstitution hématopoïétique, un déficit en cellules sanguines et la prévention et le traitement d'une radiolésion. Selon un aspect, l'invention concerne des compositions de cellules hématopoïétiques traitées à l'angiogénine et leurs méthodes d'utilisation dans la greffe de cellules souches. Le traitement des cellules hématopoïétiques à l'angiogénine améliore la quiescence et réduit la capacité de prolifération des cellules souches hématopoïétiques primitives tout en accroissant la prolifération des cellules progénitrices restreintes aux myéloïdes. Un autre aspect concerne l'utilisation de l'ANG dans des méthodes destinées à prévenir et à traiter une radiolésion.
