Abstract:
(EN) Provided are an image capturing element, an endoscope and an endoscope system with which it is possible to achieve a further reduction in size. This image capturing element is provided with: a plurality of unit pixels 230; a plurality of first transfer lines 237 each of which transfers an imaging signal; constant current sources 238 with which each of the plurality of first transfer lines 237 is provided, and each of which causes imaging signals from the unit pixels 230 to be output to the first transfer lines 237; a plurality of second transfer lines 239 each of which form a pair with one of the plurality of first transfer lines 237 to form a capacitance, and which transfer the imaging signals output from the first transfer lines 237; a vertical scanning unit 241 and a horizontal scanning unit 244 which read out the imaging signals transferred by the plurality of second transfer lines 239; and a timing generating unit 25 which activates the vertical scanning unit 241 and the horizontal scanning unit 244 while the imaging signals from the unit pixels 230 are being output.
