Abstract:
(EN) Provided are: a display device in which a driver IC can be mounted without increasing installation and manufacturing costs; and a method for producing the display device. The display device includes a substrate, a thin-film transistor layer formed on one surface of the substrate, a display layer formed on the thin-film transistor layer so as to cover the thin-film transistor layer, a first barrier film laminated on the display layer and the substrate so as to cover the display layer, said first barrier film having a wider area than the display layer, and an electrode with driver mounting section which is formed on one surface of the substrate, wherein the first barrier film surrounds at least two sides of the periphery of the electrode with driver mounting section in a plan view.
(FR) L'invention concerne : un dispositif d'affichage dans lequel il est possible de monter un circuit intégré pilote sans augmenter les coûts de fabrication et d'installation ; et un procédé de fabrication du dispositif d'affichage. Le dispositif d'affichage comprend un substrat, une couche de transistor à couches minces formée sur une surface du substrat, une couche d'affichage formée sur la couche de transistor à couches minces de manière à recouvrir la couche de transistor à couches minces, un premier film de barrière stratifié sur la couche d'affichage et sur le substrat de manière à recouvrir la couche d'affichage, ledit premier film de barrière ayant une surface plus grande que la couche d'affichage, et une électrode dotée d'une section de montage de pilote formée sur une surface du substrat, le premier film de barrière entourant au moins deux côtés de la périphérie de l'électrode dotée d'une section de montage de pilote lorsqu'on l'observe selon une vue en plan.
